The Future of multimedia

In the future multimedia will evolve also depending on the evolution of the technologies available and people’s needs.

Ina few years children will have a different education because the augmented reality could be used to teach them in a more interactive way.

Computers may also be improved so they can be more portable and intuitive, maybe in the near future instead of using the mouse or the touchpad you could have the same technology used on touchscreen cellphones.

Because of the constant evolution of technology we can´t predict for certain how the future will be, but we can know for sure that multimedia will evolve in many ways and in different areas. And, who knows, maybe in ten years we may have a world like we see in sci-fi movies.

If we can do so many amazing things with multimedia in the present we can only imagine how the world will be influenced.

How to turn on your pc(but you can’t read this unless you turn it on before, looool)

First, see if the computer is connected to the electricity.

After that, push the button that turns on the computer.

The next step is wait for the pc to ask you the password(if he has one).

Then type the password and press OK.

The final step is to wait, and if the pc is really slow, do other thing in the meanwhile;).

I’m going to talk about the upcoming movie Avatar.The production of this movie has begun in 2005 and it’ been talked  by several years because it has a   that will revolutionise the cinema experience. This technology allow us to control the point of view, only by controlling the camera like we do in video games.

The film action happens in a planet called Pandora. The habitants of this planet are called Na’vi. The story is about an ex-marine called Jake Sully that is recruited to join a mission to Pandora. For that purpose his consciousness is projected to a Na’vi body, an avatar. The objective of the mission is to infiltrate in Pandora’s population.

Avatar is the return of  James Cameron after 12 years. He’s famous for several movies including Titanic.

This movie is even a greater experience in cinema because is in 3D.

What is a game?

Usually a game is defined as something that starts a competion between the player. It has to have rules, so we can play all with the same limitations and points.

When we talk about videogames, the rules are the same as the regular games, but we interact with other tipes of materials. For example, when we are playing a card game, we play only with the cards, but when we play videogames usually we handle a joystick, a keyboard or a mouse and sometimes more than one at the same time.

In my oppinion games are a funny way of spending time, alone or with friends, and sometimes are even a way of learning something.

Hi! My name is Susana. I’m 18 years old and I’m from Valpaços, Portugal.

My hobbies are watching movies and tv shows, listen to rock music, play computer games and play football and swimming.

I’m from a small town, but now I’m living in a bigger one because I enter in the university last year. I am a student in UTAD, in Comunicação e Multimédia and I’m in the second year.

My favorite movie is Matrix, my favourite rock band is Nickelback, my favorite show is supernatural.

In my free times I like to go to the internet and see lots of terror and action movies and tv shows, but I also like to see a nice comedy. From time to time I read too. My favorite book at the moment is the twilight series and the books from the show True Blood.

In the future I’d like to work with photography and image design, because I love taking pictures and then transform them on photoshop…
